Quincy Avenue Paving Project

DESCRIPTION:

Improvement of Quincy Avenue from the east curb line of South Broadway Street to the east curb line of Stilwell Street south of Quincy Avenue, a distance of approximately 3,310 feet (designated as Paving District No. 10-1), by first removing the existing pavement, drainage improvements, curb and gutter, and incidental construction relating to the improvement, easement and right-of-way acquisitions, three lanes of paving, a transition from three lanes to two lanes, pavement marking, constructing and/or updating of wheelchair ramps at all corners in compliance with ADA, surveying, intersections at Elm Street south of Quincy Avenue, Elm Street north of Quincy Avenue, Joplin Street, Smelter Street north of Quincy Avenue, Homer Street north of Quincy Avenue, Homer Street south of Quincy Avenue, Stilwell Street north of Quincy Avenue, and Stilwell Street south of Quincy Avenue, sidewalks, drive approaches, traffic signal at the Joplin Street intersection, design and construction engineering.

[Need to pass new Resolution reducing the project from the east end of Homer Street to the east end of Joplin Street per City Commission.]

$3,200,000 (Reduced from $5,800,000)
Water Line Cost - $420,000 (Total Budget for 16” and 8” water lines on this street.)
