Housing Code

The City of Pittsburg has a standard Housing Code that sets minimum standards for occupancy.  This document’s purpose is to set standards for public safety, health and general welfare through structural strength, stability, sanitation, adequate light, ventilation, and safety to life and property from fire and other hazards.  This code is used most often when a tenant or other person is occupying a residential structure.  To access the Housing Code, go to Housing Code and then go to Chapter 26 for Community Development.
