HIDTA Methamphetamine Task Force
The High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Methamphetamine Task Force in Pittsburg is a cooperative effort of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, the Pittsburg Police Department, and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) leads the HIDTA Task Force made up of:
  • One Crawford County Sheriff’s Department deputy
  • One KBI agent
  • One Pittsburg police officer

The task force works full-time against methamphetamine production and distribution in Crawford, Cherokee, and Labette counties.
